We're used to seeing Zendaya with crazy-long talons, but the star recently had to cut back -- literally.

"@iamvalc told me I have to have shorter nails this dance.....this right here is true dedication Hahahaha only a few more weeks and the claws come back," Zendaya captioned an Instagram photo of her brand new shorter nails.

Though Zendaya had to forgo fashion for function for her Dancing with the Stars gig, she still made the best of her mani situation. Proving you can still be creative without dagger like nails, Zendaya opted a nude, white and gold look with some seriously glam gold details. We love it!

Tonight the world's most fashionable stars will descend upon the red carpet at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute Gala in N.Y.C. -- it's basically the fashion industry's equivalent to the Oscars.

This year's theme is "Punk: Chaos to Couture," so we're positive our favorite fashionistas, like Rita Ora, Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry and Beyoncé (all of whom are slated to attend!) will bring the drama. But Rita is giving us a tiny hint at what we can expect from her look.

Rita shared a photo of some of her jewelry for the Met Gala, and from what we can tell, she certainly is dressing for the theme. "Sneak peek for the Met gala tonight! Oh when you see this dress....and who made it. #excited," Rita captioned the Instagram shot. We see lots of gold, spikes, chains, pearls and headphones. We can't wait to see what she wears with these gems!

Do blondes have more fun? We guess Demi Lovato seems to think so! Demi debuted light golden locks recently on the set of her upcoming video for her next single, "Made in the USA."

This isn't the first time the star has swapped her signature brunettes tresses for a blonde hue -- she's actually tried the color a few times before. Though perhaps, she'll stick with the new shade for awhile longer because it seems like she's really loving it: "Almost didn't make it through airport security!! I look SO different from my driver's license!! Hahaha #blondehairdon'tcare," Demi tweeted today.

Strange Hot Hollywood Trend: Animal Onesies

We're all for style risk takers, but Hollywood's current favorite look has left us scratching our heads. Over the past few weeks, Miley Cyrus, Chloë Moretz and Jennette McCurdy have publicly proclaimed their love for, wait for it, an animal onesie!

Miley first made waves when she released a video of herself dancing in a unicorn onesie back in March; she gave fans a closer look at her whimsy outfit on Twitter. And since then, fellow fashionistas have followed in the singer's footsteps.

On Friday, Chloë Instagrammed a shot of a lion getup, with the caption, "Just chiillin." And then today, Jennette showed off the feet of animalistic one-piece outfit, writing, "Onesie..." along with the snap.

Since we have yet to spot these girls wearing their onesies out in public, we have a feeling they're probably (er, hopefully) just keeping cozy in them at home. Though we wouldn't be surprised if another star takes the trend one step further and wears it in the great outdoors.

We just chatted with Josh Hutcherson, who stars as Nod in the upcoming animated movie Epic. He gave us the inside scoop on the film, which features an all-star cast including Amanda Seyfried, Jason Sudeikis, Steven Tyler and Beyoncé. Check out our exclusive interview below and be sure to see the movie when it opens in theaters on May 24:

Why should Twist readers go see Epic?
I think one of the things that would draw a lot of audiences is the look of the movie. It's so beautiful -- it's cool to see Mother Nature come to life on another level. And it's a coming of age story. Your readers are at that age [where] they're trying to find themselves and that's what my character Nod is going through. He's trying to find his place and how he fits in the world, so it's very relatable.

What makes you similar or different from your character?
I think I share that central, kind of free-spirit attitude with Nod -- and doing things your own way. But I think [Nod is] a little irresponsible. I've been an actor since I was nine years old, I've had a lot more responsibilities that kids don't have. So I've grown to luckily be pretty responsible, so we're pretty different in that respect.

If we took you and planted you into the world of Epic how would you do?
Not too bad. I love being outside; I love the wilderness; I love camping and hiking and as a kid, I always used my imagination to create other worlds outside. I think that I'd fit in to the Epic world quite nicely.

And Kristen Stewart bucked with tradition by skipping the gown, and instead opted for a ruby Stella McCartney jumpsuit, plus matching eyeshadow.

It's sister vs. sister: The older of the two, Dakota Fanning, chose a black Rodarte gown with sheer panels, plus cool gold jewels. Her younger sis, Elle, also chose a Rodarte design, but went for a futuristic hippie-esque vibe wearing a tie-dyed dress with a white chest panel, along with over-the-top winged eye shadow.

Beyoncé and Katy Perry were two of the stars we were most excited to see on the red carpet, and the two divas did not disappoint. Bey brought the heat (literally) in a Givenchy dress featuring a croc-leather bodice and a fire-printed flowing train. She finished off the hot look with elbow-length gloves and matching thigh-high boots.

And Katy, who we thought was going more demure with her style lately, didn't disappoint in the over-the-top fashion department. She went ultra-regal in a Dolce & Gabbana dress, plus a crown and crucifix earrings. She completed the look with a statement-making wine-stained lip.

Though the two superstars have a lot in common (they're gorgeous, talented, etc.) their style couldn't be more different. So whose Met Ball look do you like more: Beyoncé or Katy? Vote below!

First Demi went blonde, and now another star is trying a new hair hue: Carly Rae Jepsen! The "Call Me Maybe" songstress debuted brand new red tresses on Twitter on Tuesday afternoon. "I've always wanted to go red!" she wrote.

If you haven't noticed, we are obsessed with Zendaya's fashion choices over here at Twist. We love her street style, as much as her red carpet looks. And it turns out, the star has perfected the art of selfie style, too.

Zendaya shared a snap on Instagram with the caption, "A lil mirror pic," on Tuesday, and we are loving her outfit! Only the Shake It Up star could pair floral pants with a graphic tee and make it look cool. She finished off the low-key ensemble with glam touches including a gold chain and some statement eyeshadow.

Selena Gomez continually finds herself on best dressed lists -- and she seems to do so effortlessly. But it turns out, choosing a stellar red carpet look isn't as easy as the "Come & Get It" singer makes it appear.

"The idea of trying to get on a best-dressed list stresses me out. I'm so nervous," Selena says in the June issue of InStyle. Though the star tries to not let the pressure get to her. "I love picking out clothes, and it would be a blast to just play dress-up all the time," she says.

Recently, Selena has been spotted in more revealing designs, but don't expect her to go totally overboard. "I like to show a little bit of skin in a nice way," she explains. And we think, so far she's done just that! For more with Selena, pick up the June issue of InStyle on newsstands May 17.

Niall Horan Admits He Has "Chicken Legs"

You'd be hard-pressed to find a girl who could find anything wrong with Niall Horan, but apparently the One Direction guy admits he isn't flawless.

Niall recently revealed that he has chicken legs! While in sunny Norway on tour, the star said he was concerned about his skinny stems getting burnt. "The sun is out big time! There is a chance of these chicken Irish legs gettin a bit of sun! They might be burnt but at least they got sun," he tweeted on Tuesday.

Though Niall seems to think his legs are too skinny, we have no problem with them! But just a word of advice if you're reading this, Niall, there's a thing called sunblock -- that will help prevent a burn!

Back in January, Nicki Minaj announced she was designing a clothing line for K-Mart. Now, she's giving fans a first look at her creations. And not surprisingly, it seems that Nicki's eccentric style has heavily influenced the collection.

The star shared some photos on Twitter, and we spotted a few super-cute pieces including a crop top paired with a printed peplum skirt, along with a white puffy jacket.

But our favorite looks are two printed skater dresses, which could be dressed up or down depending on what you wear it with. And not only is Nicki creating clothes, she's also covering the accessories market, too. She shared sketches of clutches, purses, hats and totes. The best part though? Everything will be crazy affordable!

After we were done gawking at how gorgeous Selena Gomez looks on the cover of InStyle, something clicked: We had seen that jumpsuit before!

And we were right: It turns out fellow fashionista Jennifer Lawrence first wore the blue-and-black Stella McCartney design back in February to the Santa Barbra Film Festival. Jennifer wore the strapless number with minimal accessories and black pumps. Selena on the other hand donned the look with colorful bangles and a bright pink lip.

Over the years, Kristen Stewart has embraced the high fashion world. She's pushed boundaries and tried new looks -- most recently stunning in a ruby Stella McCartney jumpsuit at the Met Gala. Though there is something the star refuses to wear.

"She's not a fan of peplum. I tried with 20 peplum dresses this year, and it was not happening!" Kristen's stylist Tara Swennen tells StyleCaster. But she notes, Kristen is very open to trying most everything else. "She's more and more courageous and takes risks every year ... I think she's really coming into her own with her fashion."

In the interview, Tara reveals another unknown tidbit about the actress: She doesn't have her ears pierced! And we thought we knew everything there is about the Twilight star ...
