Debby Ryan is now serving as a Disney Friends For Change Ambassador - and she just went on an amazing trip to India for the program! The Ambassador program encourages kids and families to take positive action by helping people, their communities and the planet. Along with Debby, stars like Bella Thorne, Zendaya, Ross Lynch and Laura Marano are inspiring everyone to make a difference! Debby just spent time volunteering in India through Disney Friends for Change with Free the Children, where she helped build a new school for a local village! She spilled, "I miss India. GUYS. It's here. It happened, & is still happening all around the world. How beautiful is my dearest India?" Check out Debby's message below!

TWIST recently chatted with Jade Pettyjohn, star of the upcoming American Girl movie McKenna Shoots for the Stars! Jade told us about the new movie, her favorite American Girl doll, and even gave us some exclusive deets on her new single! Check out the interview below!

TWIST: What can you tell us about McKenna Shoots for the Stars?
JP: Well I can just say that it was a lot of fun to film. All the cast and crew were so amazing! Nia Vardalos is so animated and so fun. She really did feel like a second mom to me. Ian Ziering is amazing, of course. I have pictures of he and I making goo goo faces on my iPod! And all the kids were amazing. It was really cool to step into a whole new world because in gymnastics, I've never done that stuff other than me doing cartwheels in my front yard. And so it really did feel amazing!

TWIST: What can we expect from the movie?
JP: I think you guys are going to be pretty excited about it! I think you guys will like it because it has a really nice story and it shows the balance in life that you need to have. I think it's also really heartwarming, so you guys are going to really love it!

TWIST: How did you relate to your character McKenna?
JP: I feel like we have a lot in common. We both have really good supporting families. We're also both really determined, her with gymnastics and me with acting. In acting, you definitely want to have everything perfect in every way. You really want to make it your own. And in gymnastics, she really wants to get this perfect move right and make it so her and so amazing. So I feel like we both related in that way.

TWIST: Did your dance background help you with learning the gymnastic moves and routines?
JP: I think it actually did because I've done some ballet and jazz and hip-hop. I really do feel like it helped me with that because when I auditioned, it was a dance scene instead of a gymnastics scene, so I think the dancing probably helped.

TWIST: Do you have one funny moment or prank that happened on set that really stands out to you?
JP: I remember on set, there's one scene with Kerris [Dorsey] and I when we're tutoring at the café that my mom works at, and she would give us this vanilla stuff. So we'd drink it and we'd get all this foam all over our faces and so we'd be laughing the whole time! I thought it was a lot of fun to do that. So Kerris and I would have all this foam on our cheeks and our noses and our lips and stuff. It was really fun!

TWIST: Did you have a favorite American Girl doll growing up?
JP: Before the movie, I had a look-alike doll. It didn't really look like me. I just thought she looked really pretty, so I got her! I really love her because my aunt got her for me for my birthday. I really like playing with her and doing her own hair. And then on set, before the McKenna doll came out, they actually gave us Julie Dolls. I thought that was really awesome because Julie is so pretty and I really love that doll! So I was ecstatic to get that and then I got the McKenna Doll in the mail. I was so happy to get that because it has a lot of sentimental value to me.

TWIST: Can you tell us a little bit about your first single, "I'm Too Young"?
JP: My piano teacher wrote the song and he said he would really like it if I would sing it, so I sang it for him. It's not on iTunes anymore, but I'm actually coming out with a new one called "Don't Make Rain"! I'm recording that right now, so it's going to be on iTunes soon. It's really cool. It's a really fun song!

She spilled to us about exclusive deets on upcoming shows, her message for empowering girls and who she would love to work with in the future! TWIST: So How has your life changed since the show began and while it continuously becomes more popular?
Cymphonique: I think mainly, it's pretty much the same because my family treats me exactly the same. I still have to wash the dishes sometimes, my family's like "We don't care how famous you get, you still have to do your chores," like picking up the dog's poo and feeding the dog. But, one thing I would have to say is that the fans have been so awesome supporting me! And just seeing the family grow is great, because it started off with me having a lot of Internet videos. And to see all of those people there from the beginning, I think that probably has been the biggest thing that has changed - for me to have just a bigger family and a huge support team.

TWIST: Awesome! When filming How to Rock do you enjoy singing or acting more?
C: I always get asked this question and it's a really hard one! I love them both. But, I would have to say with acting, I can sing and dance with it, so I think that's one reason why I love acting, because singing and dancing can be a part of it. I really just can't chose. I love them all.

TWIST: Cool. So who would you love to work with in the future - acting or singing wise?
C: Hmm let's see, there's a lot of really good ones out there right now. I like Hailee Steinfield's stuff. I like Zoe Saldana, she's beautiful and can kick butt! That's awesome to me! Also, Beyonce would be a fun one to do. If Michael Jackson was still alive he would be at the top of my list. And, also Taylor Swift.

TWIST: Great! So you're the spokesperson for the girls' empowerment company 'Be Your Own You.' Do you have any messages for girls to make them feel empowered?
C: Yes! I feel like comparison is always the enemy of being happy. Sometimes we can look at ourselves and be like 'Yeah, I feel good. I like this,' and then you look at something somebody else has and you're like 'Well, maybe I don't like what I have as much.' And I think that sometimes you just have to be comfortable with your own skin and know that everybody feels that way. You should just love yourself and know that no one's perfect! I would say once you accept that, it's pretty much easy. Also, not worrying what everybody thinks all the time is good, because that's just life. People are going to judge you and criticize, but you still have to be happy.

TWIST: Awesome! So before you go, are there any upcoming episode spoilers?
C: Hmmmm... yes! There will be an upcoming episode where my brother is actually on the show and we may or may not do a song together! [wink, wink] Oh! there's going to be a show with a special guest superstar and you'll get to see Gravity 5 actually perform it's first concert on How to Rock, so I'm excited for everyone to see that one! And there's going to actually be three songs in that episode ... so it's going to be a three song whammy!

TWIST: Well thanks so much for speaking with us!
C: No problem! Thanks!

It's official: Justin Bieber will perform at the Teen Choice Awards! Other performers for the awards show include Carly Rae Jepson and DJ Pauly D! Selena Gomez was spotted yesterday frolicking on the beach in Malibu with her friend Alfredo Flores - but are they really just friends? The two playfully walked along the sand, and at one point, Alfredo even lifted Selena onto his shoulders! Sel's boyfriend Justin Bieber wasn't there to see the flirting, but he did tweet, "Feeling crappy. Big week coming up." Selena and Justin have both been friends with Alfredo for years, so the flirting was totally harmless -- but being in a long distance relationship is def hard for Jelena. Still, their love gets them through!

We know Demi Lovato has been a fan of Justin Bieber for a while. Back in April she spilled, "Just downloaded @justinbieber's new single Boyfriend... SO good!! Congrats Justin... this song is gonna be HUGE!" Here at TWIST, we're hoping Justin Bieber's next duet will be with Selena Gomez. That would be totally adorbs, right?

TWIST just got back from the iHeartRadio Cher Lloyd concert in New York City and we had so much fun! Cher Lloyd was as excited for the concert as we were, tweeting, "Looking forward to going on stage!!!" She looked adorable when she came out and she was such an awesome performer! Her amazing energy kept the audience dancing and singing the whole time! Cher Lloyd sang several songs, including her hit single "Want U Back"! After the show, she tweeted, "Had an amazing time! TWIST: You're just starting out, but you already have 170,000 views on VEVO! How did you break into the business?
Kady: Well, we put the video out, and we strived for the best. It's a lot of hard work. People think that it's easy, but you have to really work and push the positivity because sometimes you don't really get that in return.

TWIST: What are you trying to accomplish with your music?
Kady: We're going for a fun, party time sound. I think that right now the world is kind of a scary place. If you can just turn on a song and feel good, happy and comforted for five minutes, that's kind of what we're going for.

TWIST: What is the album release date?
Kady: That's a good question! It's in the fall, but we're not sure. Sometime in September.

TWIST: Do you have a favorite song from your upcoming album?
Kady: It's hard to say. They're all kind of amazing. It's really weird, but they were all so much fun to work on. Hopefully they sound as fun as they were to record.

TWIST: Are you planning to tour after the album release?
Kady: Yes! We're planning a tour for the fall, for a month to six weeks.

TWIST: Cool! Where are you going?
Kady: Everywhere! Everywhere in the U.S.

TWIST: Who are some of your musical influences?
Kady: I have a lot. Robyn, Gwen Stefani. I listened to a lot of the Carpenters growing up because my mom is obsessed. Boys II Men were amazing. I also listened to Milli Vanilli. John Lennon was one of my huge influences. The song 'In My Life', I can't listen to it that much because I want to preserve the feeling, like when you turn on a song and it just makes you cry. So I just don't listen to it that much.

TWIST: Your single 'Beautiful Disaster' is really catchy, and you shot a music video for it. What was it like shooting your first music video?
Kady: It was scary, but it was fun! It was scary more because of the anticipation. Once you get there, and everyone's like, 'Come here, do this,' it was fun.

TWIST: We loved what you were wearing in the video! How would you describe you personal style?
Kady: It is a fun day in the park mixed with some kind of glamorous charm.

TWIST: Sounds like how you would describe your music too!
Kady: Yeah, exactly!

Kady: Thank you!

Robert Pattinson was shocked last week when he found out that his girlfriend Kristen Stewart was cheating on him, but luckily he has a friend to help him through the pain - Katy Perry! Rob and Katy have actually been friends for years, and he was there for her when she went through a rough breakup last year. A source spills, "She has reassured him she is very much there for him just as he was there for her when she split from Russell." What a good friend!
