It looks like Taylor Swift was feeling pretty feisty at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards last night in Las Vegas. Not only did the superstar show her disapproval for the Jelena reunion, but she also wore a headline-grabbing tee during her performance of "22."

At first glace, Taylor looked cute and sweet wearing high-waisted shorts with a unicorn tee. But then we zoomed in on the singer's top to read the fine print: In the rainbow cloud it says, "Haters gonna hate." Who knew a shirt that looks so innocent could pack such a punch!

Though Taylor wasn't the only performer to make a statement with her stage look. Her bestie Selena Gomez sang "Come & Get It" while channeling a golden goddess in a flowing dress featuring a metallic bustier. Selena paired the gorgeous number with a bindi, nude lips and long straight locks, which she seemed to have lighten for the big night.

Justin Bieber performed twice during the show. For his performance of "Take You," the singer rocked a leather jacket that was missing one sleeve (We guess he wanted to flaunt his tattoos!) and his beloved leather harem pants. And when he hit the stage with Will.I.Am for "That Power," he sported another pair of harem pants and a black bomber with both sleeves intact.

She was only there to present and perform, but the Billboard Music Awards belonged to Selena Gomez -- at least style-wise. The "Come & Get It" singer rocked three totally different -- yet equally amazing -- looks throughout the awards show.

First, she hit the blue carpet in a white Atelier Versace gown. The design featured cool neon piping and illusion panels. She finished off the dress with a pretty ponytail and a pink lip.

Then, she slipped into a golden number for her awesome performance. She accented the flowing gown with stick straight locks, bronze cheeks and her now signature bindi.

And after she took the stage, Selena did her final change of the night to introduce her BFF Taylor Swift. She looked stunning in a floor-length black Zuhair Murad dress with long-sleeves and sheer panels, plus a seriously smoky eye.

We knew Taylor Swift had a thing for vintage-inspired clothing, but we didn't know the star looks to a certain colorful holiday for style ideas.

"In the spring, I'm obnoxious like this, I sort of like to dress like I'm an easter egg," Taylor jokes in an interview about her Keds collection. "I get really excited about seasons changing. I went out and I bought a salmon sweater with a mint colored skirt and a lilac headband."

Pastels aside, Taylor describes her everyday look as feminine, experimental and classic. And while the singer has found a signature style, she says it's important for girls to find their own. "Try everything until you find something you want to wear tomorrow," she says. "You shouldn't try to wear a look that doesn't make sense to you or doesn't feel comfortable to you just because your friends wear it." Well said!

Rita Ora's trademark is her platinum blonde locks, but it looks like the singer is ready for a change: She dyed her hair blue!

Rita flaunted the blueberry hue on Instagram, sharing two different snaps. "#bluehairday," she captioned the first photo, and "Today it's smurf day :) #rehearsals #album2 #bluehairday," she wrote under a portrait shot.

Now this isn't an easy haircolor to pull off, but obviously Rita manages to make it work. And we're not surprised considering we are talking about the same girl who we once named the Queen of wacky accessories!

Law started working with the Shake It Up star two years ago, and there was an instant style connection. "It's like we're the same person when it comes to fashion," Law tells us. "We love the same things, it's really weird sometimes."

In honor of Z's big DWTS week, she will be running around N.Y.C. doing promo appearances while looking ultra-fab -- natch. And Law is going to give us exclusive inside scoop about each and every outfit she dons. One Direction recently touched down in Milan, Italy and of course, all of the guys looked crazy cute. But it's Harry Styles and Niall Horan who set off our style radar.

Niall was spotted leaving his hotel wearing a red backwards hat and Wayferer sunglasses, plus a baseball-style shirt. We love how the navy-and-white top featured a print on the sleeves.

Harry instagrammed a shot of himself touring around the city in a tanned brimmed hat, black tee and matching dark skinnies. He added some flair to the otherwise low-key look with a watch and some rings.

A lot of thought, time and preparation goes into filming a music video -- down to the nitty-gritty details. Case in point: Wearing red lipstick in her "Come & Get It" video was a major decision for Selena Gomez.

"For the longest time my makeup artist told me she wanted to do a darker lip on me," Selena says in an interview with Y100. "But she wanted to wait because it is something that you should do when you're older."

Even Selena, who turns 21 in July, admits she can't apply a cherry lipcolor correctly. "I don't know how to put on red lipstick without someone helping me, because I would make a mess of it!" she jokes.

Ultimately, Selena and her makeup artist (who she's worked with since she was 16!), went for the glam pout. "That was a big decision," she admits.

Emma Roberts and Dianna Agron attended Glamour magazine's These Girls presentation in N.Y.C. last night, but both stars went for totally different vibes with their red carpet looks.

Dianna channeled a retro style in a white Valentino design with a lace bib, which she complemented with an Adele-esque beehive hairdo and gorgeous green eyeliner. She finished off the look with snakeskin Valentino pumps and a box clutch.

While Dianna went vintage, Emma was glam in a super-cute pink-and-white Camilla and Marc dress featuring a tulip skirt and sleeveless top. She completed the flirty number with strappy sandals and a high bun.

All week long, Zendaya's stylist Law Roach is giving Twist the exclusive scoop on the effortlessly chic looks the star wears throughout her N.Y.C. press tour.

Even though Zendaya didn't take home the Mirror Ball trophy last night on Dancing with the Stars, she was absolutely amazing throughout the competition -- we couldn't be more proud of her! Now onto the clothes ...

Zendaya's first stop of her whirlwind DWTS press tour was Good Morning America. Below, Law gives us the style breakdown:

What she wore: A light blue Ted Baker shorts suit, a white Equipment blouse and aqua Manolo Blahnik heels

Why it worked for this event: Not only would Zendaya be interviewed on the morning show, but she also had to perform with her partner Val. "We wanted somethning that she could dance in and that would be cool with her sneakers," Law explains. (And we think Law was right -- check out how cute it looks with her other kicks below!) He also notes that he loved the blue hues, and he knew Z would, too. "After last night, I needed something to lift her spirits," he says. "This color was perfect."

How they chose her hair and makeup: "We just went with her signature pink lip," Law notes, which they complemented with soft, pretty eye makeup and half-up half-down hairstyle. Though, they didn't have many options with her 'do. "The funny thing is, we had no choice with the hair because it was still frozen from all the hair spray they used on DWTS!"

Ariana Grande has one of our favorite Instagram accounts: She always shares super-girlie and pretty pictures, and a lot of her snaps give us major style inspiration. But her latest Insta gave us such a case of clothing envy that we had to find where to buy her top.

"Wearing this cozy pink sweater from @wildfoxcouture ❤," Ariana captioned the three-part selfie. In the photos, she's rocking an oversized bright pink sweater with a shooting star printed on the front.

It seems Selena Gomez is taking a cue from her friend Demi Lovato and lightening her locks for summer.

The "Come & Get It" singer debuted new ombre colored tresses this week. The light brown ends are a pretty weather-appropriate look compared to the dark brown locks she's been rocking for quite sometime now.

And Selena's new 'do is very on trend considering Lea Michele is donning a similar style.

Lea paired the pretty number with a crisp white mani. The simple color has been a popular choice amongst nail art aficionados recently, everyone from Ariana Grande to Vanessa Hudgens has rocked the sleek and chic hue.

Yesterday, Law took some style cues from the guys by dressing Zendaya in a light blue shorts suit, but today he went a little bit more girlie for her appearance on Live with Kelly & Michael. Get all of the style scoop below:

What she wore: Head to toe DKNY including a white shirtdress and black high top platform booties

Why they chose it: Zendaya and Val would be putting on their final performance for the morning show, so Law had to take that into consideration. "This was her last dance, so we wanted something that would really move," Law says of the look, which he describes as "young and fun." Though, for the actual dance, Zendaya had to (understandably) swap her killer kicks for a pair of red high-top Converse sneakers. (Watch her in action here!) He finished off the feminine look with a high-bun, soft red lip and smoky eye. "We put the hair up because we are expecting rain in N.Y.C.," he notes.

Why Law and Zendaya loved the look so much: Apparently, Z had her eye on this number for quite sometime -- and as her stylist, Law wanted to make sure he'd pull through. "She mentioned that she loved all the white in the DKNY spring collection, so I was so happy I was able to get this dress," he says. It looks like Zendaya was pretty pleased with the getup, too, take a peek below of her working the streets of Manhattan in it!

Unfortunately, most of the nail art we love is the work of a professional manicurist. But today, we spotted a mani that could be easily done at home by yourself.

Emma Roberts instagrammed a photo of her nails painted a candy apple red accented with gold tips. And while her talons look picture perfect, it's actually not that hard for yours to look just as great. Here's how:

Step 1: First, clean your nails and then apply a base coat -- Essie sells a great one.

Step 2: Paint on two layers of a bright red polish. We personally love OPI's Big Apple Red, but everyone has their go-to!

Step 3: Using a thin brush (carefully) apply a thin line of glitzy gold lacquer to the tips of your nails. Make sure to choose one that is smooth paint, not a chunky glitter. We recommend checking out Wet n Wild Fast Dry in the Gold & the Beautiful.

Step 4: Apply one layer of top coat. We swear by Essie's Good to Go quick dry.

Step 5: Bask in the all of the, "I love your nails!" compliments you'll get.

Emblem3 said a sundress, but Trevor Jackson said something else when we asked him what a girl should wear on a first date.

"I'm not the one to ask that! I have not a clue!" he joked when he stopped by the Twist offices on Thursday. He went on, "Whatever she feels comfortable in. If she feels comfortable, then I'm comfortable." (Cue the aww's.)

And while Trevor definitely has his own effortlessly cool style, he admires some fellow stars' fashion choices. "[Rapper] A$AP Rocky has good style," he says.

Another one on the "Like We Grown" singer's list? His bestie Zendaya. "Most people that you see that have style would normally have a stylist all the time. But most of the time [Zendaya] just dresses like herself," Trevor explains. "I'm like, 'How do you come up with this?' She's like the only one that I really know [that does that]."

Also he knows Zendaya will always tell him the truth when it comes to his clothing choices. "I feel like If I was to dress bad, she would tell me," he admits. "She'd be like, 'You have to do this...' and just do it all." That's what friends are for!
