The red carpet at last night's 2013 MTV Movie Awards was as unpredictable as host Rebel Wilson. Our favorite stars stepped out in everything from glitzy thigh-high minis and chic white pant suits to see-through lace bell-bottoms (yes, you read that right!). Here are the girls who killed it in the fashion department and a few celebs who could have used a second opinion before walking out the door.
Before slipping into a red boho number for her awesome performance of "Come and Get It," Selena Gomez stunned in a super-sparkly gold fringed Julien Macdonald mini dress, plus peep-toe pumps and a head-turning braid (which we'll tell you how to copy later this week!).
And while Selena went short and sexy, Bella Thorne surprised everyone by taking a cue from the boys in a chic cream Emporio Armani pantsuit. She kept the ladylike look fresh by adding colorful drop earrings.
Another actress who (pleasantly) surprised us? Chloe Moretz thanks to her new spin on denim. She rocked a patchwork number by Louis Vuitton, pretty waves and t-strap heels.
Emma Watson was honored with the Trailblazer award for her acting skills, but she also deserves it for her style choices: She took one of the biggest risks of the night in a futuristic printed mini-dress by Maxime Simoens.
Kylie Jenner went two-toned in a high-waisted cream pencil skirt paired with an on-trend white crop top, proving that white was the color of the night. She finished off her outfit with a gold chain necklace and pointy-toe pumps.
Also in white was Ariana Grande, who channeled her inner-princess in a flirty number with an embroidered bodice and pleated skirt. We give her bonus points for her cute pink lip and half-up, half-down do.
Ke$ha lived up to her over-the-top reputation in something that only the star would ever be caught wearing. Because who else would don see-through lace bellbottom pants and a fringe cape? No one.
Though it's not her most questionable maternity look so far, we wish Kim Kardashian had flaunted her baby bump in something more flattering. If it weren't for the oversized bat sleeves, we would have loved her black number and killer gold necklace.
Hayley Williams matched her hair (well, half of it) to her orange socks. Hopefully this isn't the start of a new trend.
Almost beating Ke$ha in the most jaw-dropping look of the night was rapper Macklemore in a regal-inspired blue cape and coordinating suit. Insert "Thrift Shop" joke here.
