Miley Cyrus has gone through a major transformation over the past year, and it all started when the star chopped off her hair back in August.
"I'm going to change, I'm going to be different, I'm going to do what I want to do," Miley says in V magazine's Summer 2013 issue of her thought process before taking the plunge. "I chopped my hair and bought a pair of Docs and never looked back."
With her mane change came a clothing makeover, too. Miley has rocked everything from black-and-white striped Chanel jumpsuits (above) to '90-inspired street wear. But it turns out those pieces have always been in her closet, she just didn't wear them out in public. "I felt like I always got it. I would always secretly keep my [stuff] for around the house," she says. "It's not about the girly-girl [stuff] anymore, the pop [stuff]. Times are changing, music is changing, fashion is changing. It's all changing."
