Hey TWIST girls,
We recently caught up with the cast of Victorious at a Nickelodeon Big Help event at Thomas Starr King Middle School in L.A.! The entire cast, Matt Bennett, Ariana Grande, Liz Gillies, Avan Jogia, Daniella Monet and Leon Thomas III teamed up with The Big Help and the National Wildlife Federation to help sixth graders plant an outdoor garden! The school hopes that the garden will create an outdoor classroom for its students - a beautiful place where they can learn and grow!
Ariana is a strong believer in the project and was so happy to be working with The Big Help. "Everyone really does make a difference and we just need to respect our planet and take care of it," she told us. Matt agreed and shared, "I really do want to get more involved in planting and enjoying the benefits of that because you don't realize how much better it is having actual plants around. It smells really nice." In addition to helping the students work on the garden, the Victorious cast participated in other fun activities too! "We were painting with them and helping them and they were educating us," Liz spilled. "I feel like I've learned a lot today that I will be able to apply in my day-to-day life." Awesome! What a great project!
