Our favorite musical stars looked amazing as usual as they strutted their stuff on the red carpet for the Billboard Music Awards Sunday night.
Katy Perry was pretty in pastels (and of course had hair to match) in her purple mermaid gown. Miley Cyrus took a fashion risk by bucking the traditional frock for a white suit-jacket dress combo with a plunging neckline and tousled hair. Taylor Swift, the Billboard Woman of the Year, wore her trademark curls blown out and donned a stunning red gown with a sheer lace bodice.
Carly Rae Jepsen kept it simple for her Billboard Music Awards debut. She wore a long nude colored gown and left her hair sleek and straight, she may have played it safe, but she pulled the simple look off perfectly. Carrie Underwood went all-out princess in a ballgown in shades of blue, grey and pink. With her long curls tumbling down she looked like the belle of the ball. Julianne Hough was all sparkles in a strapless mini. If not for the intricate sequins and beading her short dress might have seemed too casual, but it added just the right touch of glam to pull the look together.
