TWIST just chatted with Francia Raisa! Francia dished about the final season of The Secret Life of the American Teenager and gave us all the scoop on her movie Birds of Paradise, coming up in 2014. Check out our exclusive convo below!

TWIST: Hi Francia! Can you tell us anything about the upcoming episodes of Secret Life?
Francia Raisa: That's the thing about the show, it's so juicy every time we film an episode! I don't know how to talk about it without giving it away. People are thinking about moving to New York, relationships are on the rocks, and some other people are getting together. It's drama like usual, but it's juicy and entertaining.
TWIST: What's the vibe like on set?
Francia Raisa: Oh my gosh, we have so much fun! We joke around, we eat a lot. It's crazy because we've been together for five years and not once has anyone ever gotten in a fight or an argument or anything. We all get along so well. Those are some of my best friends and it's a really good working environment. I have competitions with my costar DeVaughn, who plays Omar, in who messes up less. So far I'm beating him!
TWIST: What's your favorite on-set memory?
Francia Raisa: I think my favorite memory was in the first season. We were outside waiting forever, and Megan decided to be Britney Spears. I was her backup dancer--so was Amy--and we were singing "Lucky." We got it on tape and did this whole show for the boys!
TWIST: What's next for you?
Francia Raisa: I just wrapped a movie actually! We finished it about two weeks ago. Ryan Guzman and I are starring in it. It's called Birds of Paradise and it's a romantic drama. It's just a beautiful love story between he and I. It's like Romeo and Juliet, these two star-crossed lovers that no one wants together. It's an interesting, challenging role.
