Today Victoria Justice is celebrating her birthday and the DVD release of her movie Fun Size! Although she hadn't yet made birthday plans when she talked to TWIST last week, she did spill about Fun Size. She shared, "Filming Fun Size was one of the best experiences of my life. I was lucky enough to be working with a fantastic cast and crew. We always enjoyed each other's company." Victoria even has a momento from the movie. She told us, "On the last day of filming, there's kind of a tradition where people give each other gifts. Jackson was handing out wrap gifts, and he gave me a jar. I was like, 'What's this?' and he was like, 'It's my fart in a jar!'"

What's your most memorable gift? Tell us in the comments below! And be sure to send Victoria your birthday wishes! To get a Fun Size prize pack, check out the February issue of TWIST! Like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter and Instagram!

TWIST chatted with Amara Miller from 1600 Penn! Amara spilled about her character Marigold and how she got started in acting! Check out the exclusive convo below!

XOXO,
TWIST

TWIST: Can you tell us about your character?
Amara Miller: 1600 Penn is comedy about a First Family and I play Marigold, the daughter of the President. Marigold is spunky near-teenage girl who is strong and confident- those are two things really admire in her. If you keep watching you really see another side of her, especially in the relationships that she develops with the other characters in the show.

TWIST: How did you get started acting?
AM: I gave a little bit of thought to it when I younger. That was when I was around seven or eight. A couple of years went by then one day my aunt came from LA and said, "I was at a party and overheard some friends talking about how Alexander Payne the director of The Descendants was looking for a ten year old girl to be in his next movie." I was like, "sure why not?" I thought it would be fun! So I put myself on tape, and I got the part!

TWIST: What advice would you give to girls you would like to get into acting?
AM: Definitely don't let others get you down. A lot of people will tell you that you can't do it, you'll never amount to anything, you'll never be a great actress, singer or whatever you want to be. Don't let others kill your hope, and don't let them get you down!

TWIST: Can you tell us about your work with the Plastic Pollution Coalition?
AM: The Plastic Pollution Coalition is a foundation about spreading the awareness of how dangerous plastics can be. They harm the environment, they harm animals and they can hurt people sometimes. It's important to me because this is our environment; we only have one, so why disrespect it? It has given so much and I don't really understand why we would pollute and harm it with all of these dangerous things that can harm us, others, our planet.

TWIST: What's next for you?
AM: I'm just running through the audition process. A lot of great scripts have been coming my way and it's really a lot of fun reading and seeing what you're interested in. I've definitely been looking at a lot of dramatic movies so far.

A Rocket To The Moon premiered their latest music video for the song "Ever Enough" featuring Debby Ryan! When we chatted with singer Nick Santino, he told TWIST, "The video was really, really fun to do, we shot in a couple days on this little road trip, we started in LA, we went to Vegas, and we went to Big Bear. The whole point of the video is the girl Debby plays is supposed to be sick, and she was in the hospital, and she doesn't have much time left. She just wants to get her way and get her mind off of the whole situation, and so, me being closest to her, I wanted to kind of take her away from all that." Nick explained, "The cool thing about the video is that we didn't have a destination, it just seems like we're kind of driving and kind of taking it in. I think that's the whole point of the video...it doesn't really matter where you're going, it's the journey and how you get there. It really hits home too for people that have gone through that and have watched loved ones go and there's nothing they can do about it, and so I think it's a really important video and we haven't really done anything like that." Check out the emotional music video below!

TWIST just chatted with Eleanor Tomlinson from Jack the Giant Slayer! Eleanor dished to us about her role as Isabelle, how she builds her self-confidence, and co-star, Nicholas Hoult. Check out our exclusive convo below, and be sure to see Jack the Giant Slayer, in theaters March 1!

XOXO,
TWIST

Q: Can you tell us a bit about the film Jack the Giant Slayer?
Eleanor Tomlinson: It's basically Jack and the Bean Stalk -- the story of how Jack gets the beans, the beanstalk grows, and he comes across a princess. She gets taken with the beanstalk, and he has to go on this massive adventure to save her. It's a really exciting family film with obviously a great love story in the middle of it.

Q: Can you talk a little bit about your character?
ET: I'm playing princess Isabelle. She is the leading lady. She's great, really exciting. She's kind of different from other princesses because she's really feisty, and I wanted that to come across. I didn't want it to be something that we've seen before in all kinds of fairy tales -- I wanted her to have some kind of edge to her, something that's really independent. She was born into this royal family; she didn't choose that lifestyle and I think at times she feels really trapped by it. She tries to get away from it as much as possible and ends up running away to prove that she's her own person and that she wants her own life, and that's kind of the story.

Q: How do you feel like you relate to your character, Isabelle?
ET: We definitely have similarities. When I first read the script I really liked how independent she wanted to be. She's her own person, and she wants to go off and explore the world for herself. She doesn't want to have to have guardians following her around all the time, preventing her from being a real person, preventing her from meeting real people. I really like my independence and I really treasure that.

Q: In the film, Isabelle is a very confident female character, how do you boost your self-confidence?
ET: I have really close friends so whenever I'm feeling self conscious about anything they're the first people that I call. My family is really supportive so I really depend on them. I wouldn't be where I am without them. They are the building blocks that have allowed me to get where I have and that's priceless. I would suggest finding a confidant, someone you're really close to, that really gets you and you can offload anything too, and that would just boost your confidence.

Q: What was it like working with Nicholas Hoult? Did you guys hang out when you weren't filming?
ET: Yes, me and Nick are great mates, which is so crucial for me because when you're working so closely with a co-star it's really important that you get along with them. He is just the loveliest guy and we really did have a ball working on Jack. It was just fantastic. He's an incredible actor so just to be able to work with someone like that it was just great experience for me.

TWIST chatted with Spencer Boldman from Lab Rats! Spencer dished to us about the new season of Lab Rats, his character Adam and his favorite superpower. Check out our exclusive convo below!

XOXO,
TWIST

TWIST: What can we expect in the new season of Lab Rats?
Spencer Boldman: This season of Lab Rats is really intense. There's a lot of comedy and a lot of action but there's a lot of drama that happens. We disover Marcus, this evil bionic kid, is not our friend. As we progress through season two, it becomes very clear to us, the three bionic kids, that there is an evil villain kind in our midst. I think it's going to be a really great season. I think it's our best season so far.

TWIST: Are there any storylines that you're really excited about this season?
SB: My character, Adam, is kind of the goofball of the group, and he gets some pet animals in a couple episodes. I know in one episode there's a llama. I like it when my character kind of interacts with animals because usually the storyline is really funny. When we aren't on a mission or when there isn't big suspense going on in the show, we often do really funny storylines where we're at school. I think that's what helps keep the audience interested in our show -- us being normal teenagers. I'm excited for those episodes as well.

TWIST: Is there any romance in the new season?
SB: Not for me or Billy's character, Chase. We're kind of left in the dust on that one. Kelli's character Bree gets a new boyfriend.

TWIST: Has your character changed since last season?
SB: Absolutely. He's grown in a lot of ways. He still acts really goofy and funny, but Adam has a lot more victories. There's a lot of episodes where he saves the day, and I think that's really exciting because Adam is not the brightest person in the world. My character also gets a new bionic ability which I don't think I'm allowed to talk about but it's really, really cool.

TWIST: If you could have one superpower what would it be?
SB: I'd love to fly. I think it would be really cool to be able to fly anywhere and see the world from a different angle. Plus, I don't like airplanes, so I could just fly home.

TWIST: What's next for you?
SB: Right now I'm focusing on the show. We're almost done with season two, so hopefully in a couple of months, I might have some stuff going on. Right now, I'm just doing season two, taking some improv classes outside of it to keep my acting chops good, and that's about it. I go home as much as I can, too.

TWIST: Thank you so much for talking to us!
SB: Thank you so much! It was good talking to you!

TWIST Exclusive: TWIST Chats with Billy Unger!

Billy-Unger-Lab-Rats-Exclusive.jpg

TWIST just talked to Billy Unger from Lab Rats! Billy dished to us about the hour-long special of Lab Rats, his favorite mission, and what's next for him. Check out our exclusive convo below!

XOXO,
TWIST

TWIST: Why should TWIST readers tune into the new season of Lab Rats?
Billy Unger: Season two is basically an amped up version of season one. We wanted to make the stakes higher, and that's what we've done. We're just having a blast. We've got an hour-long episode that will air in season two where pretty much everything is revealed. It's sort of a mythology episode, and I can't give too much away, but there are probably about four fight scenes in just that one episode. We've also got really, really funny jokes, and Bree is super relatable for teenage girls as well.

TWIST: What has been the most fun episode to film so far?
BU: Without a doubt it would have to be the hour-long episode because the episode was large enough for every character to fit into the storyline. Sometimes, because it's a half hour show, we'll have Principal Perry in an episode instead of Hal's character, Donald Davenport, and then sometimes we'll have Angel's character, Tasha. However, in the hour-long, everyone got a piece of the pie. Everyone got to take part in the action. It was just so much fun. Everyone was full of energy and we were all really sad when it ended. We were ready to make the hour-long like a three-hour long episode!

TWIST: What has been your favorite mission so far from Lab Rats?
BU: We had some really cool missions in season one. However, in season two there's an episode where Chase goes on a solo mission. He runs into a bit of trouble and into a few bad guys. There's a slight possibility of Chase going to the dark side. I can't give away more than that -- people will just have to watch and see what happens. It's a huge episode, and I'm very, very proud of the way that it turned out. Super excited for that one to air!

TWIST: Do you have any upcoming projects that you're working on?
BU: Currently I'm in a band with Hal Sparks, and the two of us are planning to do some shows soon. We're writing original music and we're doing a bunch of really fun covers. I'm really into rock music and I've been playing guitar for a few years, but obviously that's second to Lab Rats. Honestly it sounds really cliché, but every single morning we're so excited to come to work. The writers and the producers just make the set so warm and comforting and welcoming. That's really nice and that's yet to change and I doubt it ever will because we're all just like a family. We're really close.

WIST Exclusive: Twist Chats with Kelli Berglund!

Kelli-Berglund-Lab-Rats-Exclusive.jpg TWIST just got off the phone with Kelli Berglund from Lab Rats, and she spilled some exclusive deets about the new season! Be sure to catch the season premiere of Lab Rats on February 25 at 9 pm ET/PT on Disney XD! XOXO, TWIST TWIST: What can we expect in the new season of Lab Rats? Kelli Berglund: There are a lot of exciting things that happen this season. As you know, the first season ended on a cliffhanger, and we have this new evil villain that's starting to go against us. You see that progress, and you see him get even more evil, and you see what he's all about and why he's after us. The story has a huge twist in it, which I'm really excited for the audience to see. There are a lot of secrets that are revealed this season. You find out where the Win It page came from, who we are, and why we are the way we are. It's just really cool, and all of our characters really grow through this season. We also have some new abilities that are exposed, so that's pretty cool. TWIST: How is it being the one girl in the Lab Rats? KB: It's actually pretty fun. I thought the same thing to myself when I first started this. At the beginning of season one I was like, "I am the only girl here and I'm surrounded by boys all day long. Hopefully I'll be able to get along with them and we'll have fun." But honestly, they're like my family. They're like my real brothers, and we all get along so well. We're always hanging out on and off set, and they just make me feel welcomed as the only girl. It's pretty cool knowing that I have a great group of guys that I'm with every day. TWIST: What do you think of the new Lab Rats mission suits? KB: The new suits are so cool. They're very different from the first season mission suits. Bree gets a huge upgrade. She gets these really cool boots, they're knee-high boots and they're leather. And she gets this cool belt and there's a zipper. Instead of having my hair up in the ponytail, it's down and flowing. It's really cool to see her transition from first season to second season. Even the boys' suits, they make a huge change as well. Instead of it just being one big suit, it's two pieces, and the whole thing is very Avengers-like, like Black Widow and Hawk-Eye. That's what they were inspired by, so they're so awesome and we all love them. TWIST: Your character is bionic, but if you could have a superpower, what would it be? KB: It would be a tie between being able to be invisible and being able to fly. I've wanted those powers since I was five years old, and I still do. I think they're so cool. TWIST:. How do you think Bree has kind of changed and grown? KB: Bree has definitely become a lot more confident this season. At the beginning of the first season you saw how insecure she was being out in the real world and having to adjust to everything, along with her brothers. They were all a little awkward at first, just trying to get used to everything. But she's lived in the real world now for a good amount of time, she's getting used to things. She's really a typical teenage girl and she does typical teenage-girl things. This season you see her have a few new love interests, and see her with different boys. It's just cool to see her transition from first season to second season confidence-wise, because I think that's what the audience wanted to see - just see her grow into herself and become the teenage girl that she really wanted to be. TWIST: Do you have any upcoming projects that you want to tell us about? KB: Right now I'm just working on Lab Rats page season two. I was actually producing a bit of music, which I'll hopefully be releasing maybe halfway through the year. That's still in progress and we're still working on that, That'd be really cool if I could get that started. Other than that, just filming season two and hopefully some other things with Disney. TWIST: Thank you so much! KB: Thank you!

TWIST just hung out with Katherine McNamara! She dished to us about Girl Scout Cookie Day, her favorite badge and what's next for her! Check out our exclusive convo below, and watch her shout-out video!

XOXO,
TWIST

TWIST: Why did you want to get involved in Girl Scout Cookie Day?
Katherine McNamara: I started Girl Scouts when I was six years old. It's something my mom had done and she always told me all of the great stories about all of the friends she had made, the new experiences she'd had and all of the things she'd learned, and I knew I wanted to be a part of it. I talked to my friends about it and we all decided we wanted to start a troop because some of their moms had been Girl Scouts, too. It was really neat. It was a great way to bond with our moms and with each other as well. All of those girls that I started the troop with, I'm still friends with now. I can go to them with any problem and they would give me advice and have my back and just be there for me, which is really nice. Girl Scouts has taught me so much and it's really made me the person I am today. I'm so thankful for all the experiences I've had and the lessons I've learned and the friendships I've made. It's a real honor to be a part of Girl Scout Cookie Day, which celebrates the largest girl-run business: Girl Scout Cookies!

TWIST: What's different about Girl Scout Cookie Day this year?
KM: This year they're emphasizing that it's not just a cute little cookie business, it's more than just that. They've actually redesigned the cookie boxes this year to emphasize the five things that they're teaching: goal setting, making decisions, money management, and as far as business ethics go, they have to learn how to run their own business. Sometimes they'll set up a stand and they have to keep track of the cash and learn how to make change and learn to talk to people and handle themselves professionally.

TWIST: Do you remember your first time selling cookies?
KM: I do remember my first time selling cookies! I was a little uncertain because I'd never gone door-to-door before. I always started with the people that I knew better and that made it a little easier to warm up to and get started. Once I got going, I just had so much fun! People love Girl Scout cookies, and when you come to their door, they're so happy because you're bringing them something delicious! It was always one of my favorite things.

TWIST: In Girl Scouts you get badges, were there any badges that you were really proud of that really meant something to you?
KM: One of my favorites was an outdoor activities badge. We went ziplining, which was a lot of fun. We did archery which was one of my favorite things. I love archery, it's a blast for me, I feel like Maid Marion or Katniss! Repelling was the other thing we did, and I think repelling was my favorite of all. I loved it. It was really scary -- you had to climb up this four-story tower and be hooked onto the top and lower yourself down. I was shaking like a leaf the first tie I did it, but once I got back to the bottom I wanted to go again! One of the things I loved about that experience is that nobody made fun of the girls who didn't want to do it. We told them, "Well, it's okay if you want to try," and they're like "No," and we said "Okay, that's fine, we support you." It was a nice bonding experience for all of us. One of the things that I think is amazing about Girl Scouts is that everyone is accepted, no matter who you are, what you are, where you come from, you're accepted, because that's what Girl Scouts is all about.

TWIST: Do you have a favorite Girl Scout cookie flavor?
KM: My favorite growing up was always the peanut butter sandwiches, or the Do-si-do. I would always buy two or three boxes for myself, every year.

TWIST: What's next for you?
KM: Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn will be out this year with Joel Courtney and Jake T. Austin. It's another retelling of the stories, but what's neat about our version is that they've aged the characters up to about 15 or 16 instead of 11 or 12, so it can be a lot more intense, and a lot more action-oriented. The movie's beautiful. I really can't wait for you guys to see it; it's going to be awesome. Also, I did Contest, which is all about bullying and how out of hand things can get. That's always been something that's really important to me because I was bullied a lot as a kid because I was always different and I really wanted to be able to do something about that -- tell that story and open the door. It covers all aspects -- cyber-bullying, bullying in school, bullying among friends, there's even bullying at home that goes on. Another neat thing about Contest is that Kenton [Duty] and I have both recorded songs for the soundtrack and those are both gonna be released sometime in April and all of the proceeds are going to go to a charity for bullying. I've done a couple of episodes of Kickin' It, I did an episode of Jessie and I'm getting ready to do another one. Debby [Ryan]'s like a big sister to me, I love her so much, and Olivia [Holt] of course. After Girl vs. Monster, she's like a sister to me as well, I love them both dearly. I'm also doing my own music, it's gonna be out soon as well.
